In between the 1950s to the 80s, Dr. Clare W. Graves, professor of psychology at Union College in New York, conducted extensive research into people’s drives and into what makes people happy. Graves’s work can be used to analyse both the interaction between a person, an organisation and society, and between a person and their environment. In this episode we are joined by Rupert (aka Brother Beans) to examine the varying frameworks committed by Graves (and furthered by Don Beck, Chris Cowan, Ken Wilber, & Dane Tomas) that influences the different levels of our values and motivations that makes us... human!
